During the last edition of the Vienna Cyber Security Week in March 2019 a significant step was taken by having the ITU, International Telecom Union, and the OSCE, Organization for Security and Co-operation In Europe, joining their strengths to promote the role of women in the cyber space.

Consequently the Energypact foundation  activities related to the Women’s Cyber Forum were transferred to a new legal entity registered in Vienna, the Women Cyber Security Association,  with the goal to establish a permanent global platform of dialogue and exchange on the role of women and the promotion of women in the cyber and IT world.

A series of conferences on information sharing, networking, training and mentoring will be organized in Europe in the next future.
